Normalizing Nudity By Education, Advocacy & Research (NNEAR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity that exists to foster among the public a just and tolerant appreciation of the human body in all its physical aspects with greater acceptance of, and respect for, the physical appearance of all human beings regardless of age, race, sex, height, weight, state of dress, or any other visual physical indicators. To repudiate in all manner possible the commonly held belief that the nude human body is inherently sexual or that simply viewing nonsexual human nudity is harmful in any way to persons of any age.
To educate the public, governmental and regulatory entities, and businesses on the beneficial aspects of publicly viewable, family friendly, social nudism/naturism and to promote the understanding and liberty that humankind may achieve by the practice of social nudism/naturism.
To lawfully, and in combination with others, seek the establishment and maintenance of such laws in any jurisdiction as will facilitate and provide for the purposes herein stated.
To publish, print, distribute and sell communication media in furtherance of these purposes herein stated; and further to provide and offer for donations such services and merchandise as are or may be associated with said purposes.
To financially support, with appropriate grant applications, the educational and acquisitional objectives of similarly minded nonprofits such as those seeking venues such as resorts, communities, beaches, parks, natural areas, camping, and other similar public spaces to engage in nudist/naturist activities.
